Do I need an app?
No. Your walk is a PDF. Save it to your phone's Files or Books app and open it like any document. There's nothing to install, no account to create, and no subscription.
Will it work without signal?
Once the file is saved on your device, yes. The guide itself works offline. Google Maps, Spotify and other external links need a connection.
Can I print it?
Yes — that's what the A4 Print edition is for. It is laid out for paper, for anyone who would rather hold the guide than look at a screen. Where the phone editions put links — the one-tap Google Maps route, and the Foxtrack's Spotify suggestion — the A4 Print edition puts a QR code, so nothing on the page is directly tappable. Scan it with your camera and it opens in your browser.
Which edition should I pick?
Every walk comes with all four editions (the family walks come as one Large Phone edition), the same walk adapted four ways: Mobile for the phone already in your pocket, Large Phone with bigger type and images, Tablet with a wider layout that gives the cards more space, and A4 Print for paper, with QR codes wherever the digital editions use links. Start with Mobile, or pick the one that suits how you'll read it.
How long is a walk, really?
Most are two to three hours across roughly two to seven kilometres, broken into five to ten stops. Every guide states the real distance and duration on its route page, so you can tell what you're committing to.
Can I buy it for someone else?
