Your kind of afternoon

Let the river carry the conversation.

The Riverside Lean-In is a gentle Southbank walk made for two. It runs along the Thames from Waterloo to London Bridge, with small missions and stories that give you something to talk about while you walk.

There is a book market to browse, a brutalist building to argue about, independent shops, a riverside railing to lean on and a hidden art form underfoot. The PDF includes a curated Spotify playlist and a printable Walk Bingo card.

Out on the walk

What you'll do on the walk

Find a book at the Southbank Centre Book Market with a cover so ridiculous you have to show it to your date. Follow the river east to Winchester Palace, stand beneath the rose window together, and let the conversation set the pace.
