Your kind of afternoon

Big ships. Little explorers.

A sailing ship towers over little explorers, grand buildings invite a second look and a royal hill leaves plenty of room for a picnic pause. Greenwich makes a fine place to borrow a little time from the everyday and spend it together.

Six outdoor missions give children something to spot, imagine or puzzle over, with short trivia, Wanderer Tips and a Photo Moment woven into the guide. Selected stops have a FOXTRACK — a suggested song for that part of the wander. Bring the printable Walk Bingo and let the snack breaks set the pace.

Out on the walk

What you'll do on the walk

Meet the Cutty Sark from the pavement and set sail before anyone has left dry land. Swap ideas about life at sea, then let the little explorers lead the charge into Greenwich Park, where the view is worth every uphill complaint.

“A very nice tour with some great local suggestions. Very nice to be able to wander at your own pace instead of following a guide or group.”
